For those working offshore

ResQ offers all the compulsory safety training according to regultions set by the Norwegian offshore industry(OLF) and the Norwegian Shipowners Assosiaton(NR) - for personell on permanent and movable installations (and ships) used in the oil and gas industry. Personell with a maritime background/education qualify for work on the continental Norwegian shelf through special courses. Analogeously, special courses covers the gap between training abroad and training in Norway.


OLF/NR TRAINING (D=days, R=Refresher course)
Basic Safetey and Emergency Training GSKH 5D. R:2D every 4.years
It is mandatory for personnell working on the shelf to obtain the course basic safety and emergency training. The course has a standard e-learning module, see Trainingportal in the main menu to the right. When course is completed a OLF card is issued, qualifying for work on the shelf.
Basic Safety and Emergency Training Refresher GSK 2D. R:2D every 4.years
Repetisjon av grunnleggende sikkerhets- og beredskapsopplæring for sokkelarbeidende personell. Repetisjon hvert 4. år. Etter gjennomført kurs fornyes OLF kort som kvalifiserer for arbeid på sokkelen.
Fire Team Course OFI100 5D. R:2D every year
Basic training for members of fire teams, leading firefighting personnell and on scene commanders. When completed the participants will have necessary knowledge and skills for firefighting with available equipment offshore and onboard ships.
Fire Team Course Refresher OFI100 2D. R:2D every year
Repetition of Fire Team Course.
Coxswain Course OSE135 Coxswain conventional 4D. R:2D every 2. years
Basic training for personnell commanding lifeboat after wrecked ship or accident where evacuation is required. A VHF/SRC certificate i required for the course.
Coxswain Course Refresher OSE135 Coxswain conventional 2D. R:2D every 2. years
Repetition of coxswain course.
Helicopter Landing Officer Course OSC1141 5D. R:2D every 2. years
Basic traing for helicoper landing crew, which gives qualification as Heliguard and HLO. Completed course give the paticipants knowledge and skills related to helicopter operations, safety routines, prevention of accidents and of relevant safety equipment onboard he helideck. A VHF/RSC certificate i required.
HLO refresher course OSC1141 2D. R:2D every 2. years
Repetition of HLO Course.
First Aid Course OFA101 5D. R: 2D every year
Basic training for members of first aid team on permanent and floating installations, fist aid personnell and man-over-board crew at ships on readiness. Completed course give participants the skills to execute first aid at serious damages and illness, and to assist nurses in examination of pasients.
First Aid Refresher Course OFA101 2D. R: 2D every year
Repetition of First Aid Course.
Man-overboard-boat Course OSE114 4D. R:2D every 2. years
Basic training for man-overboard-boat crew. Completed course will give the participants the skills to manage boat and equipment satisfactory, know the most common methods for seek, and be able to do pick-up and life saving treatment on injured person. A VHF/SRC ceritificate is required.
Man-overboard-boat Refresher Course OSE114 2D. R:2D every 2. years
Repetition of MOB course.
On Scene Commander Course OER108 3D.
Training of on scene commander and crisis management personnell with responsibility for co-ordintation of on scene. The course will give knowledge and skills within management and co-ordintation of available resources on scene on an actual emergency situation. The participant have to have a Fire Team Course or to be a gartuated nurse and have VHF/SRC certificate.
Basic Crowd and Crisis Management OER109 3D.
Kurs for personell som inngår i organisasjonens beredskapsledelse. Deltaker skal etter endt kurs kunne delta i beredskapsledelsen i egen organisasjon, samt ha forståelse for beredskap i petroleumsindustrien.

Other training:
Group training On Request
Training of parts of or the whole crowd and crisis management team, from leaders to on scene personnell. The training is normally organised to satisfy the requirements by involved funtions, such as industrial protection, heliguard, first aid, coxswain and on scene commander.
Crowd and Crisis Management Training for controllroom employees On request
ResQ has developed their own training arrangements for traing of crowd and crisis management teams within the controlroom. Basis for training is actual defined dangerous situations, installations, the ships or the company`s crisis plans and actual controlroom screens and alarms.
