Courses for those on ships
ResQ offers all neccessary training according to the international IMO/STCW regulations, It is noted that re-training is required for those on board ships and floating installations involved in the oil and gas industry on the Norwegian continental shelf. | Basic Safety Course for Shipcrew IMO-60 60H, R: 2D every 5. years. All crew working on-board ships must complete this basic safety course. ResQ has developed their own e-learning module which is implemented in the course. See menu item ResQ e-learning. Additional training qualifies for work on shelf. See description of course for those working offshore. |
| Advanced Safety Training for Officers IMO-80 80H / 10D, R: 3D every 5. years. Påbygningkurs for de som skal arbeide som skipsoffiserer (dekks- og maskinoffiserer). Kurset krever gyldig IMO-60 kurs. |
| STCW Refresher for Crew 2D / 16H, R: 2D every 5. years. Repetisjonskurs IMO-60. |
| STCW Refresher for Officers 3D / 24H, R: 3D every 5. years. Repetisjonskurs IMO-80. |
| Upgrade from OLF to STCW 2D / 16H Upgrade for those who have approved basic safety course according to OLF, and wishes to get approved course for ships (IMO-60) according to STCW. Please note ! Certificate for STCW is dated back to the date when basic safety course was completed. |
Other training:
| Group training On Request Training of parts of or the whole crowd and crisis management team, from leaders to on scene personnell. The training is normally organised to satisfy the requirements by involved funtions, such as industrial protection, heliguard, first aid, coxswain and on scene commander. |
| Crowd and Crisis Management Training for controllroom employees On request ResQ has developed their own training arrangements for traing of crowd and crisis management teams within the controlroom. Basis for training is actual defined dangerous situations, installations, the ships or the company`s crisis plans and actual controlroom screens and alarms. |
